This draft Geophysical Field Protocols manual was prepared by the Desert Research Institute to aid the hydrogeologic field personnel of the water projects in the three WAWI countries. The manual outlines and reviews all of the data elements that need to be collected, in order to optimize the usefulness of the geophysical data for increasing borehole success rates in difficult regions. The manual also includes sections to increase the data interpretation methods used by water project staff. With this manual, geophysicists can formulate an in-depth understanding of the cause and effect relationship between a particular geological structure and the EM-34 data patterns they produce. |
